What happens to what you write to us

One page, in plain English. If a question is left after reading it, the answer comes by writing to info@microgames.dev.

Who receives the data

Sempoint di Fabio Cioni — P.IVA IT06603290484. For anything on this page, deletion requests included: info@microgames.dev.

What data, and where from

Only what you type into the «Work with us» and «Commissions» forms: name, contact, area or project type, the message, that form's optional fields and the attachment, if any.

We also record the IP address the submission comes from. It does one thing: refuse more than three submissions an hour from the same address. Without it, the form would become a collection of automated advertising within a week.

This site has no social buttons and, until you say so, loads nothing from other domains. The one exception is the statistics, and they only start if you accept them: the section below says what they collect. If you refuse, or close the page without answering, nothing about you is written down.

The statistics

If you accept — and only then — the page loads Google Analytics 4 and tells it which pages you open, when, from what kind of device and from which country, along with a cookie that keeps your visit apart from the others. The cookie lasts six months. Google truncates the IP address before recording it and we never see it.

It does one thing: tell us how many people come by and which games they look at, so we can decide what to do next. There is no advertising, no profiling, and the data is not cross-referenced with anything.

The recipient is Google Ireland Limited, which keeps it for fourteen months. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR): until you give it, no request leaves for Google.

You can change your mind at any time from the «Cookies» entry at the bottom of any page: it reopens the choice, and a «No, thanks» turns everything off from the next page on.

Why we process it

To read your request and answer it, and — if we agree to work together — for what follows. The legal basis is pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) for the form data, and legitimate interest in keeping the service standing (Art. 6.1.f) for the IP address.

There is no profiling, no marketing, and you do not end up on a mailing list: there is no mailing list.

Who else sees it

The data sits in a database on a server in Falkenstein, Germany (Hetzner Online GmbH).

When a request arrives, a Telegram notification goes out containing your name, your contact and the area — not the full message, and never the attachment. It exists so that a request is noticed the same day rather than a week later. Telegram is therefore a recipient of those three items; if you would rather avoid that, write straight to info@microgames.dev instead of using the form.

Nobody else. No CRM, no bulk mail service, no reselling: none of those exist here.

For how long

Twenty-four months from the last contact. After that the request and its attachment are deleted.

Sooner, if you ask: deletion removes the file you attached too, because the attachment belongs to the request and goes with it.

The games and Android apps

This page also covers the games published by microgames.dev, including the Android apps on Google Play such as Maze Lume (com.microgames.mazelume).

The games collect no personal data. They need no account, show no advertising, use no advertising ID and contain no analytics, crash reporting or third-party SDKs that collect data. The Android versions ask for no permissions and make no network requests.

What a game remembers (language, progress, records) is saved only on your device: it never reaches us or anyone else, and it is removed when you uninstall the game or clear its data.

If you get a game through Google Play, Google handles the purchase and the download under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy), which we do not control.

The games are not directed at children under 13.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability: write to info@microgames.dev and you get an answer within a month.

If the answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
